The first time I got to college, I had no idea what to do with myself. It was the school year and my roommates were off studying abroad for two weeks, so I basically had nothing to do. I was in my dorm room with my laptop and I was bored. I was bored, but I was also a little pissed. I had no idea what I wanted to do with myself.
A common response to this is “to make yourself interesting.” You may be surprised to learn that I was actually bored and bored to my bones, too! I was bored with the idea of sitting around and wasting time.

You can try to change the situation, make yourself more interesting, but at some point you get bored of the situation you’re in and start trying to change it. The point being that if you want to be bored, make it fun. Make the situation fun. If you dont want to be bored, thats fine, but make it fun. The problem is, if you have a boring boring life, you are not going to have fun. Fun is fun.
Fun is fun, even when you dont know how you are going to do it. So, if you want to be bored, make it fun.
You can get bored of your life and then start thinking about ways to change it. But you have to start thinking about it, and if you are not thinking about it, you will not be able to change it. So, start thinking about it. If you dont want to be bored, make it fun.
I think that’s the crux of it. People often have a hard time getting life-changing stuff done, so they tend to get stuck in a rut and get all negative. The solution to it is to start thinking about it, and not just thinking about it, but doing it. And then you will be able to get it done.
Well, if your life is about doing bad things, then you are not going to be very likely to get it done. But if you are willing to give yourself a little time to reflect, then you can begin to change the things that you are not willing to change.
This is one of those things that is really hard for most people. One day you have to quit smoking, the next you’ve got to start getting a job. So most people who give themselves a chance to do something small and start it don’t end up doing it. That is the real problem.
The thing we have to remember is that if we want to make any improvements in our life, we have to first start with small improvements. In most cases the only reason we go back to something is because we have to. So our first step is to start doing small things.
