I love the thought that the salaries of many of the people who were involved in the deadly shooting at the school in Newtown, Connecticut are being revealed. However, I’m sorry to say that I don’t agree with the official release of the figures. While we are being forced to pay attention to the news, we should perhaps take a moment to think about what we’re choosing to pay attention to.
The shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary happened on January 14, 2012. That’s why these figures are from January. If we were to pay attention to the shooting itself, we wouldn’t have seen the numbers for the Newtown shooting until the following week. So for the time being, we’ll just have to take a moment to reflect on what happened last week, why it happened, and how it might affect this year.
The Newtown shooting happened on Sunday, and people were still alive on Monday. The problem with the Newtown shootings is that they were not only random. They were also not only a tragedy, but also a massive public relations disaster for the nation’s gun control lobby. They were the media’s first “troll” moment since the Columbine tragedy of 1999.
And let’s not forget that the Newtown shooting was a massive public relations disaster for the New Zealand gun control lobby. That’s exactly why they’re working overtime to raise money to prevent the Gun Violence Emergency.
In the wake of the Newtown murders, America’s gun control lobby has been working overtime to raise money to prevent the Gun Violence Emergency.
The NRA and other gun control advocacy organizations have spent so much money trying to save lives that they no longer have the time to actually save them. The American people are finally waking up though, and they are beginning to notice that the money and lobbying efforts that the NRA and their ilk have spent to try to stop gun violence are not stopping the killings in the first place.
The NRA doesn’t want you to know this, but yes, the money and lobbying efforts that the NRA and their ilk have spent to try to stop gun violence are not stopping the killings in the first place. The NRA has been working overtime to raise money to prevent the Gun Violence Emergency, by lobbying Congress to pass gun control laws.
Not only is the NRA lobbying Congress to pass laws that will make it harder for law-abiding citizens to purchase guns, they are also trying to block those gun control laws from passing. In fact, the NRA and their friends in Congress have spent millions to try and stop most gun control laws, from banning guns, and from making it more difficult to acquire guns. In my opinion, they have been very successful at this.
In recent years, the NRA has spent millions to try and convince Congress to pass gun control laws. This is done by using its vast network of wealthy supporters in the media and the political process to push these laws through. As of 2017, they have spent $12 million on lobbying, and their biggest spendings, $9 million, went to the National Rifle Association PAC, which has spent more money on lobbying than any other in the US.
The other important factor in guns being successful at this is that guns aren’t a right. They’re a privilege, and they’re given out to everyone, including the government. The NRA, as a tax-exempt lobbying group, has very little to do with lobbying Congress. This is not to say that they don’t work hard to push laws that benefit gun owners. They just don’t spend as much on it as gun manufacturers.
