I was a fan of the series before I knew who the artists were, but the songs are a continuation of that tradition. While the songs have been around for a while, they don’t have any lyrics. This is because the artists don’t want to make them sound as generic as possible. The artists wanted to make sure the songs have something to say, or at least something that will be recognizable. So they wrote the lyrics in their own words.
I love how the artists have made each song stand on it’s own. The lyrics are so powerful because they’re about so many different issues.
Of course, the lyrics are not the only part of the songs that are great. The songs themselves are great too. Just imagine a song about a person who doesn’t want to face their own mortality that you can sing along to. You’ll probably never forget it.
The best part is that they wrote the songs in their own voices and not in a band’s. It made it feel like their voice was speaking for the songs. It was like they were singing the song to themselves.
