I just thought it made no sense and it probably was just a clever prank.
Que sera sera is actually a phrase that can be used to express a story. It’s also a phrase that’s used fairly frequently in movies and TV shows. The phrase originally appears in a song by the band The Strokes. And it’s also used to describe a certain song the band did.
I’ve used it before in my own writing and I see its use in movies and TV shows. Just like the other day when the guy who plays the character in the movie was talking about the songs in the movie, he said, “They should make a movie about that.” I don’t know why but I just think it’s hilarious.
In the trailer the main character, Colt Vahn, is trying to kill four Visionaries to leave him with a trail of death. One Visionary in particular is an amnesiac who has been locked in a trap for eight years. That’s a lot of people. I don’t know if I would be so stupid to think that I’d be stuck with a Vahn dead in my own world.
That may be true, but there’s also the possibility that the Visionaries have been locked into a time loop, and Colt may be the last person to break that trap. So we’ll find out whether Colt is the last person to play a game of death and mayhem in the movie.
It will be interesting to see whether this time loop is just one of many. The game will definitely be a lot of fun, and it’s also a great example of just how much time and effort it took for Arkane to make a game that has some of the feel of a movie.
